GUITAR MASTERY. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE
The best way for a person to get better at playing any instrument is to practice. Put some time aside that you can devote yourself to doing just that. Focus your practice session to a particular technique or skill. Use a metronome or other beat keeping tool. Play at a speed that you are able to actually do the new technique, then slowly increase the speed. Take lessons from someone other than that guy down the street that showed you some new chords. Get to know other musicians. Listen to types of music that you aren't familiar with. Expose yourself to new music and people. ...................................No! don't expose yourself in any manner that is illegal! Try new things.
